CITY PARK AMPHITHEATER

One of Our Prettiest Spots!

One of Mountain View’s little known secrets is the Stone Amphitheater in the City Park. It was built From 1966 – 1969 by the Arkansas Farmer’s Union Green Thumb. It is adjacent to the 1/2 mile paved walking track located on West Webb Street. Just a short stroll down the creek side on the east of the parking area you will find this tranquil location, perfect for for weddings, concerts, or just relaxing and meditating. Woodland walking trails lead from from the Stone Amphitheater to other areas of the City Park or along the creek to the Ozark Folk Center.
It is a true work of art and it’s peaceful, serene atmosphere will provide a quite spot to picnic or just gather your thoughts and make plans to experience the other wonderful places Mountain View has to offer.
